The teas that have be studied in clinical trials have been traditional Chinese and Japanese green teas. There are many varieties and its hard to find information on which ones have the most medicinal value. One one the more well-known varieties of green tea is Mao Feng.

Question by bubblygirl101: what are the statistics to surviving cancer to to the uterus?
My friend recently was re-diagnosed with cancer to the uterus.I hope she survives. She has two young kids whom she loves very much. She is getting chemotherapy and everything but I have no idea if she can pull through again. What are the statistics to re-beating cancer to the uterus and the statistics to being cancer to the uterus the first time? Thanks!

Answer by Denisedds
There is no way to answer you based on the information provided. Survival is based primarily on stage, but we also need to know her age, the type of cancer, the grade, the hormone receptor status and what treatment she has had. This cancer rarely occurs in women young enough to have young children. Most uterine cancers occur in postmenopausal women which often aids in early diagnosis, overall 75% are diagnosed at stage 1-1C with a 5 year survival rate of 95-70%.

Question by Optimistic: What role does chemistry play in cancer?
What role does chemistry plays in cancer, or what chemicals are used in chemotherapy and how do they affect the cancer?

I’m doing a research paper of cancer, and I have to relate it all back to what role chemistry plays in it.

I’m not looking for easy answers, I just need some examples to help me get started or even some links to websites, articles, ebooks that can help.

Thank you!

If you want answers, think about your question, put it in the search box and you will get more than you thought you would. Cancer is a body chemistry. it takes normal cells, mutates them, and they in turn attach themselves to other healthy cells and tissues and begin their rotten infestation. There are over 200 different types of cancer. Cancer is only one word to describe a barrage of diseases. So pick one cancer and go from there. As you go, you will see what role chemo plays not only on cancer cells but because chemo is a toxin, unfortunately, it also detroys healthy cells. Makes one loose hair. then there’s radiation. There is so much, no one person can answer this here. You will have to look it up. If you find something you don’t understand, you e-mail me and I will help. You have to try first. Good luck

Cancer victim’s deathbed image sends message to smokers – Tue, 05 Jul 2011 PST
For American smokers, her portrait is a glimpse of a future perhaps too frightening to ponder: an unsparing photograph of a person scarcely recognizable as a woman, her body wasted by cancer, her hair gone, her blue eyes fixed in a thousand-mile stare. She was Barb Tarbox, and she died on May 18, 2003, of lung cancer at the age of 42. From October 2002, two months after she was diagnosed, to the …
