Question by Chase B: What is the best way to prevent cancer from spreading?
My grandma has pancreatic cancer and the doctors say that is is spreading to her liver. I know that doctors say that there is no cure or anyway to stop it from spreading, thats bs. I have read books. Does anyone know how to stop it from spreading?

By the time cancer begins to spread beyond the first organ, it may be too late. Once it is in a person’s blood stream or lymph nodes, it spells doom, usually.

My son had Acute Lymphoblastic Luekemia, a blood cancer. He is now in remission. He is 7 years old and had 3 years of chemotherapy. What cheap options do we have in alternative medicine to help prevent cancer from returning and to help heal the damage the chemo did, especially the Vincristine and Septra on what it did to his joints. They hurt and he falls all the time now. Any opinions or facts and know of any good Alterative Medicine Clinicians in Indiana close to Indianapolis or Kokomo?

For a person his age, good nutrition would be a good place to start. Speak with a nutritionist who can offer you a diet plan to keep him healthy and strong.

I am concerned with cancer, my tongue looks abnormal and I need to brush it well to keep the carcinogens off of it. I am a non-smoker, but I am very fat. This is why I worry about cancer of the tongue.

a toothbrush has nothing to do with preventing cancer. Just make sure you dont smoke and that will help you keep your tounge longer.

Not a book about ‘kicking cancer’s butt’ (any author that claimed their book could definitively tell you how to do that would be lying), but a book I wish had been around when I was diagnosed with cancer because it’s so realistic and straightforward and so full of information is ‘Cancer is a Word not a Sentence’ by Dr Robert Buckman.

Honestly? I think the best donation you can give is to your friend’s brother. Insurance only covers so much – he will have a lot of financial responsibility to receive chemo and go through surgery. Otherwise, if you are looking to donate to a charity, anything that has to do with children since they are our future would be the most logical and have the largest impact (ie – children with luekemia).
