Question by Jamie: How would an Aquarius and a Cancer do in a relationship?
I don’t believe in horoscopes and signs and all but they do. I’d like to know what they thought when I said I was a cancer and they were aquarius.
Btw, I’m not as introverted and sensitive as my sign suggests. I’m cancer.

Aquarius is unemotional and have a stomach of excitement, while Cancers are emotional and can get home sick easy. So maybe opposites attract?

My Cancer mother married an Aquarius man years ago, she was very home oriented and interested in making the relationship work in that she cooked dinner every night, helped the kids with their homework, ran errands, visited family… she was a very good wife. Perhaps she was a little demanding…
Aquarius guy helped her around the house, he played house husband for a few years… after awhile was visting the strip clubs with his buddies, playing poker with his buddies…. working hard and focusing on his job… but it was never enough time with the family. She would nag him to stay home, and the more she did he stayed away. Only a rocky 8 years down the line it was over. These two can work well if she lets him disappear for awhile, but he HAS to come back. She can’t do it all on her own if she has a valid man standing by. She needs to know he cares by taking the time to show up.

Cancer female and Aquarius male, can, surprisingly do quite well together, and become a devoted couple. They don’t have much in common astrologically if you look at some of the books, and Cancer does tend to drive and nag Aquarius a bit but perhaps that’s what Aquarius needs. You know the saying “behind every successful man there’s a pushy woman” ? well it could have been written for this pair.

im dating an cancer and im an aquarius and like having fun make jokes be open minded and not so much Emotionally… where he is very defensive when i make a joke or when i laugh he always thinks i making fun of him but im not… im just goofy and i like to have fun…

Because people are haters and think the stars predict their love life 100%! I’m a Cancer and my guy is an Aquarius-and I love this guy, he’s hella hilarious and he loves spending time with me, and he’s very affectionate mind you. Both signs are kinda bonkers and aloof in their own way as well. Yes, the emotional stuff can come into conflict, but as long as you both are willing to accept each other as you are, the relationship flourishes. Cancer can teach Aquarius how to not be afraid to trust their emotions, while Aquarius can show Cancer how to not let their feelings run away with them. I think the signs, although different, complement each other nicely. It just depends.

anyway, i’m an aquarius, and i dated a canerian for about 6 months. it was pretty rocky and ended very badly. he showed me his passivity which allowed me to take full and complete advantage of him until one day he decided he had enough, and without telling me, he just started distancing himself from me. initially i didn’t think that he acted like a typical cancer, but when i think about it now, he surely did and is. i tried to distance myself from him in the beginning of the relationship but he made it nearly impossible by showing up at my house randomly and did even weirder things like that. for an example, when i didn’t answer or return his calls/texts, he would show up anyway and make a big deal out it. i ended up “cheating” on him, he found out and a couple months later decided he didn’t want to deal with it anymore and broke up with me stone cold.
he also never confronted me about any of these things, the cheating, the feeling, nothing. cold. eff him, i’m over it. it took awhile but it’s done. he ended up stealing my friends (scorpios, and sagg) they willingly accepted. i don’t need ppl like that in my life soo i moved on to better. idk if this helped, but it’s just an experience i had with cancer.

I’m a Cancer and I have a very special connection with my Aquarian woman. Maybe it’s because of the signs or maybe it’s despite them. Either way, it works because we find some of ourselves in each other and we are free to be us.

I hate to say it, but that’s a terrible match.
I’m Aquarius, Cancers and Virgos always hate me for some reason. But I don’t really care cuz I’m not a big fan of those two signs either. LoL

I’m an Aquarius and I dated a Cancer once. We got along great, had fun together, and I thought we had a lot in common, but he dumped me for some unknown reason.

Aquarius man and Cancer woman can get along famously together, especially with hard-to-impress Cancer driving Aquarian creativity.
